Sound performance for the Mercedes Marco Polo
The Mercedes Marco Polo sound system is available with five premium speakers, bass reflex subwoofer as well as a 5-channel digital amplifier. The factory woofers in the vehicle doors are adapted to the sound system through DSP programming. The sound system is specifically tuned for the acoustics of the vehicle. The specific subwoofer is specially designed for the rear side panel and is thus integrated invisibly and in a space-saving manner.
Another special feature includes two vehicle-specific sound setups. This allows the impressive sound to be switched individually with a switch for driving or stationary mode. The sound system can be controlled via smartphone using Bluetooth. The head unit does not need to be switched on for smartphone control.
The specific “Marco Polo” subwoofer
Thanks to an optimized volume design, the subwoofer holds about 18 liters. Despite the small enclosure volume, the subwoofer performs maximum sound quality. The integrated 200 mm subwoofer works with a 4-fold voice coil drive highly efficient.
The installation is space-saving next to the seating group in the cavity of the rear side panel (passenger side). The housing design was made to fit precisely, so that the existing fixtures (control units, trailer hitch, jack and on-board tools) remain unrestricted.

Important is the appropriate insulation of the vehicle doors/side trim, for this a corresponding insulation package is available. This includes Alubutyl, insulation fleece as well as Rainstop (art. no. 27960).
