The VW T6 is one of the most popular vans and is still in the limelight. The sound professionals at Jehnert have taken this on board and present a 3-way front system with various expansion options. The result is a customised sound package that promises fascinating musical enjoyment. The concept is simple and effective.
The 3-way speaker system includes high-quality components such as two 26mm soft dome neodymium tweeters, 80mm midrange drivers and 165mm Jehnert power woofers. Specially developed midrange/tweeter modules for the A-pillars are optimally positioned to provide a perfect sound stage for enjoying music with a real live character. The bass foundation is formed by two 165 mm woofers in the factory-installed locations of the vehicle doors. In keeping with the company’s tradition, passive crossovers were developed especially for the T6, which provide the sound system with a detailed sound image and spirited sound dynamics in the finest tuning.
As an alternative to the 3-way front system, a complete sound package with digital 5-channel amplifier and additional subwoofer is available. This guarantees optimum spatial sound and a significant increase in sound performance.
CampTec-Style 2-way sound system - The entry-level system
In addition to the tried-and-tested 3-way sound systems, JEHNERT® is expanding its portfolio with the “CampTec Style series”. The Easy-Install products impress with their quick and easy installation and are available in various expansion stages. The 2-way speaker systems for the VW T6 are available plug & play for the factory installation locations and allow you to upgrade your factory-installed system at a favourable price-performance ratio.
The 3-way sound system in the cab
The 3-way sound system consisting of two neodymium soft dome tweeters, high-end mid-range speakers, JEHNERT power woofers and vehicle-specific crossovers optimise the sound experience in the T6. To achieve the full sound power of the sound system, we recommend the sound package I, which significantly increases the sound power of the system with the additional amplifier and subwoofer.
The digital 5-channel amplifier is extremely powerful and particularly versatile. It offers the possibility of finest frequency programming with broadband frequency compensation as well as the transfer of frequencies and delay corrections.
A specific setup has been developed for the T6, which is pre-installed with every sound package. The compact 5-channel amplifier has a dynamically regulated switching power supply, which reduces heat generation and power consumption to an absolute minimum.
Accessories
The VW 2- or 3-way rear system consists of mid-high modules for the C-pillar. The 3-way system completes the sound experience in the T6 with 165mm JEHNERT power woofers in the original installation locations of the side panelling
