The sound specialists at Jehnert have taken care of the sound of this second Sprinter generation and put together a customised Sprinter sound package. The concept promises fascinating musical enjoyment and spatial sound qualities that are both impressive and audible.
The 3-way loudspeaker system offers exclusive, high-quality components with two 26mm soft-dome neodymium tweeters, 80mm neodymium midrange drivers, 165mm Jehnert power woofers and, in true Sprinter style, Sprinter-specific crossovers. Also included in the scope of delivery are loudspeaker mounts for the centre speaker on the dashboard, specially developed for this Sprinter. These ensure the acoustically optimised positioning of the speakers for a perfect sound stage with a real live character.
The 3-way sound system in the cab
The speaker mounts developed for the Sprinter dashboard integrate two 80 mm mid-range speakers in an acoustically optimised listening position. Two 26mm soft dome neodymium tweeters in the A-pillars complement the 3-way system and achieve a wide, spacious sound stage. A 165mm JEHNERT power woofer is installed in each of the vehicle doors for greatly improved basic sound reproduction and higher overall sound pressure.

To achieve the full sound performance of the sound system, we recommend the sound package I, which significantly increases the sound performance of the system with the additional amplifier and subwoofer.
The digital 5-channel amplifier is extremely powerful and particularly versatile. It offers the possibility of finest frequency programming with broadband frequency compensation as well as the transfer of frequencies and delay corrections.
A specific setup has been developed for the Sprinter, which is pre-installed with every sound package. The compact 5-channel amplifier has a dynamically regulated switching power supply, which reduces heat generation and power consumption to an absolute minimum.
Sound package 2 - cab system incl. Subwoofers, amplifiers & living room speakers
The amplifier can be selected in two power levels and offers the right power for every requirement (either 160 watts or 300 watts subwoofer output). For hi-fi purists, the high-power version with twice the output offers even greater sound dynamics. The 5-channel amplifier also offers the option of expanding the sound system with 2 living room speakers.
Accessories
With the insulation package specially compiled for Mercedes Sprinter, the door panels/side panelling can be insulated so that no disturbing vibration noises occur.
The universal cable remote control, also known as the subwoofer and setup switch controller, is available for sound packages I and II and allows you to adjust various functions such as the subwoofer volume.
