The task of a subwoofer is to support the bass range. When developing our subwoofer solutions for motorhomes and caravans, the focus is not on sound pressure and decibels, but rather on achieving clear, spirited sound dynamics and perfect surround sound.
A subwoofer always requires volume, i.e. an appropriately dimensioned enclosure. Especially for recreational vehicles, we have determined the smallest and most optimal volume in terms of sound and developed various enclosure shapes for space-saving installation.
It is best positioned in the centre of the listening area, e.g. under the driver/passenger seat, in the storage compartment or in the seating area, etc. The connection is made via the amplifier, as a radio does not have sufficient output power.
Our passive subwoofers are sound-optimised via the pre-installed sound setup of the 5-channel DSP amplifier and are controlled via a plug&play connection cable to save power.
