For Carthago motorhomes, there are two options for installing the front system: firstly, the loudspeakers can be integrated in special loudspeaker mounts, which are elegantly mounted on the dashboard. Thanks to the special angling of the loudspeakers in the moulded part, all acoustic conditions are optimally taken into account. In addition, the holder is covered with leather and the loudspeaker is additionally protected and concealed with an acoustic fabric cover. Secondly, the loudspeakers are installed directly on the dashboard (only this variant is suitable for Carthago compactline models).
Due to the factory-fitted conditions, the woofers are no longer operated; the low frequency support is provided by the subwoofers included in the sound packages.
The Swabian manufacturer offers systems in various performance levels and recommends a high-quality 3-way system in a precisely tuned listening position for the driver and front passenger to optimise the sound characteristics in the mid-high range of the cab. The sound system is acoustically calibrated to the driver’s cab. This guarantees an optimum sound image and detailed music reproduction.
To achieve the full sound performance of the sound system, we recommend the sound package I, which significantly increases the sound performance of the system with the additional amplifier and subwoofer.
