Sound performance for the new Mercedes Sprinter (from year of manufacture 2018 / W907/W910 – system suitable for vehicles with and without blackout blind):
3-way cab system
As an alternative to the mid-tweeter modules on the A-pillars, the perfectly integrated mid-tweeter module for the dashboard is available. Independent of the A-pillar trim, the module is integrated to fit the dashboard storage compartment. In the process, the tweeter in the mid-tweeter panel has been angled. This special arrangement acoustically forms a so-called stereo triangle and ensures optimum radiation. System only suitable for vehicles incl. REMIS blackout blind. Only suitable for models with cupholders on the left and right side of the dashboard. For version with cover flaps, the systems are suitable for the A-pillar.

The factory dominant center speaker is throttled by means of the included plug & play crossover and blends harmoniously in the sound system.
For a powerful low-frequency range provide in the factory installation location of the vehicle doors in each case a 165 mm JEHNERT Power Woofer. The installation of the woofers is done with a custom-fit mounting adapter directly in the factory installation openings – mounting adapter included.

Note: The connection of the sound system is recommended via a DSP preparation, alternatively via the head unit (DSP preparation Mercedes code E3D).
The sound package 1 includes the following components:
– 3-way sound system in anthracite.
– Crossover for integration center speaker
– Subwoofer of your choice (by default, the subwoofer 17011 is supplied, if no specification is made)
– digital 5-channel amplifier “plug & play” incl. Sprinter sound setup / alternatively high-performance amplifier
– subwoofer connection cable “plug & play” 4.8 m
The digital 5-channel amplifier is extremely powerful and particularly versatile. It offers the possibility of the finest frequency programming with broadband frequency compensation, as well as the adoption of frequencies and runtime corrections.
A specific setup has been developed for the Sprinter, which is pre-installed with every sound package. The compact 5-channel amplifier has a dynamically controlled switching power supply, which reduces heat generation and power requirements to an absolute minimum.
The amplifier is selectable in two power levels and offers the right power for every requirement (either 160 watts or 300 watts subwoofer output). For hi-fi purists, the high-power version 69741-82 with double the power offers an even greater sound dynamic.

Through the amplifier, you can also supplement the system at any time later with two multiboxes (eg for TV).
To control the subwoofer, an additional subwoofer controller is optionally available:
Important is the appropriate insulation of the vehicle doors / side panel, for this purpose, an appropriate insulation package is available. This includes Alubutyl and insulating fleece.

For easier connection of the amplifier / power supply TV, we recommend the power connection cable for Hymer models incl. factory-fitted DSP box for bridging power supply TV.
By means of the power connection cable (Art. No. 68491), the amplifier switches on automatically by activating the on-board power supply; in addition, the TV power supply is taken over and does not have to be re-routed. The factory DSP box can thus be uninstalled.
