Sound performance for the new Mercedes Sprinter (from year of manufacture 2018 / W907/W910 – 69732 only suitable for vehicles incl. REMIS blackout blind // 69782 suitable for vehicles without REMIS blackout blind):

3-way cab system
In precisely tuned listening positions, one 55mm midrange driver and 26mm tweeter each in vehicle-specific midrange-tweeter modules on the A-pillars achieve a perfect sound stage.

The factory dominant center speaker is throttled by means of the included plug & play crossover and blends harmoniously into the sound system.

For a powerful low frequency range, a 165mm JEHNERT Power Woofer is installed in each of the vehicle doors at the factory. The installation of the woofers is done with a precisely fitting mounting adapter directly in the factory installation openings.

Note: The connection of the sound system is recommended via a DSP preparation, alternatively via the head unit (DSP preparation Mercedes code E3D).

Sound package 2 includes the following components:

• 3-way sound system in anthracite (part no. 65730/65780)
• Crossover for integration center speaker
• Subwoofer of your choice (subwoofer list incl. dimensions) (subwoofer 17011 is supplied as standard if no specification is made)
• digital 5-channel amplifier “plug & play” incl. Sprinter sound setup / alternatively high power amplifier
• subwoofer connection cable “plug & play” 4.8 m
• 2 x Multibox of your choice (when ordering, please specify in the ‘Checkout’ tab in the notes field which living room boxes & colour you would like)

The digital 5-channel amplifier is extremely powerful and particularly versatile. It offers the possibility of finest frequency programming with broadband frequency compensation as well as the transfer of frequencies and delay corrections.
A specific setup has been developed for the Sprinter, which is pre-installed with every sound package.
The compact 5-channel amplifier features a dynamically controlled switching power supply, which reduces heat generation and power consumption to an absolute minimum.

The amplifier is selectable in two power levels and offers the right power for every demand (either 160 watts or 300 watts subwoofer output). For hi-fi purists, the high-power version 69731-82 with double the output offers even greater sound dynamics.

Mercedes Sprinter sound package 2- Optional accessories:

An additional subwoofer controller is optionally available to control the subwoofer: (part no. 68495).

Important is the appropriate insulation of the vehicle doors/side panel, for this an appropriate insulation package is available. This includes Alubutyl and insulating fleece (part no. 27920).

To connect a TV to the sound system of the Sprinter W907, an AUX connection is necessary. Appropriate circuit board component can be provided on the amplifier, thus the TV can be connected with an appropriate jack cable (part no. 11062-AUX jack standard / 64111-AUX jack high power).
In addition, it is possible to connect an external Bluetooth module (Art.-No. 68497) by means of a Y-adaption (Art.-No. 68496), so that the sound system can also be used in standby mode without switching on the MBUX.

If only a Bluetooth connection is desired, the Bluetooth module can be integrated directly in the amplifier
(part no. 11062-BT-Standard / 11086-BT-High-Power)

A rocker switch is required to control these additional Bluetooth/AUX functions (art. no. 69499)

Note for Hymer models:
For specific installation facilitation of the subwoofer under the front passenger seat, the installation kit can be used to optimize the ventilation pipe. The ventilation kit (Art. No. 68492) facilitates installation of the subwoofer (17005).

For easier connection of the amplifier / power supply TV, we recommend the power connection cable for Hymer models incl. factory-fitted DSP box for bridging power supply TV.

By means of the power connection cable (Art. No. 68491), the amplifier is switched on automatically by activating the on-board power supply; in addition, the TV power is taken over and does not have to be re-routed. The factory DSP box can thus be uninstalled.
